I had the great fortune to meet Johnny when he was a trainee in Dundee alongside me.  He was such a charismatic, smart, kind and funny guy and i remember night shifts working aside him having a fantastic laugh with the ICU nurses while we worked.  He was also incredibly competent and tender with the patients we cared for.

 His smile could melt a stone and i am so so sorry for the loss his close family and friends must be experiencing.
